Do you ever wake up early in the morning with thoughts flooding through your mind?
Do you ever have that small still voice shake you from a slumber?
Do you ever have a moment when it seems like a light bulb has just gone off over your head?
In fact, I believe that each and everyone of us has those types of feelings almost everyday of our life.
The problem for many of us is that we refuse to listen. We refuse to acknowledge that we could have inspiration, yet we all do.
This morning was one of those mornings for me. I woke up at 5:30 am and my mind was racing with thoughts. Thoughts about this website, thoughts about a new book that I would love to see in print, and thoughts about you.
That’s right; I think about you. I think about how do I encourage you to slow down and realize that the universe or God, depending on your beliefs, is trying to get you to share your skills and talents with the rest of us in this world.
The internet and the power of computing has given us a power that we often underestimate. It has given us the power to communicate.
We all have a powerful message to communicate and we need to learn to share those messages with others.
This blog is one way that we can share our thoughts and inspirations with each other. I am going to be updating this site frequently with thoughts and ideas that I come across and I invite you to join me through your comments.
Feel free to share your thoughts and we will begin to build a community of people who are inspired to share a vision by sharing our lives with each other.
This world we are living in is changing. We as individuals are constantly changing. Share those changes with us.
I am changing. I see it and feel it each and every day. The problem is that I am not sure how I’m changing. The way I think, the way I feel about life; it is different. Today is not the same as yesterday. The things that I thought were absolutes in my life are no longer as stable as I thought.
I find myself pondering the beauty of this world more every day. The small things that I used to take for granted matter more. As I sit here this morning, I am looking out my kitchen window towards the East and the changes in the horizon as the sun begins to peek above the tree line is mystifying. The morning air is a frigid 29 degrees. The silence of the morning is beautiful. I am truly a blessed man.
I invite you to join me as we move through the remainder of our lives. I challenge you to listen to the still small voice that moves within each and everyone of us. I know that life is challenging. I know that there are tremendous struggles going on. I hope that we can feel the love and power that is there for us even if it is only through the thoughts and lives of others.
Reach out today and touch someone’s life. Something as simple as a smile to a passing stranger. Share the words “I Love You” with a close friend or loved one. You might be amazed at how your words will be a voice of encouragement and someone’s spirit will be touched.
In the words of my beloved wife and my closest friend, Lisa Cockrell. “Live, Love and Laugh Always”.
